Zone.js - Execution Contexts in AngularJS

  • July 22, 2014 · 6:30 PM

This month we'll have Andrew Bleeda presenting Zone.js. From the GitHub project page (https://github.com/btford/zone.js/):

"A Zone is an execution context that persists across async tasks. You can think of it as thread-local storage for JavaScript VMs."

Andrew Bleeda is a Senior Software Engineer at SpotXchange and has spent the last four years there working on web applications development.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Isn't this Zone project & the one for [Node](http://strongloop.com/strongblo...) merging?

Thanks Geoffrey... sounds like there is potential to merge the two which is interesting.

Bret from StrongLoop mentioned that he and the ZoneJS folks were just talking to see if there was any synergy between the two efforts.
