Post #: 138
The culture

These are a dedicated group of technologists who are working hard to "innovative new media applications that will change the way you surf the web, watch video and shop online". They are profitable and looking to grow their JS team. They are looking for quality engineers who can jump in to solve problems efficiently.

The Job

This is a Lead JavaScript Engineer position, no jQuery only folks here. We're looking for someone with exceptional experience with JS MVC frameworks (Angular, Backbone, Ember, Knockout, etc) They are currently looking at space in LODO (hope to move Q1 2014). Some flex hours are available but this is largely a position that requires core hours onsite.

As a lead engineer for this small team, you will provide excellent architectural knowledge, exceptional coding ability and a true sense of modesty. Only folks who don't take themselves too seriously and function well in a fast-paced startup environment that requires close collaboration will be considered. A strong cultural match in this work-hard-play-hard atmosphere is critical.

The Skills

* Strong JS MVC skills (Angular, CoffeeScript, Ember, Backbone, Knockout, etc)
* Excellent HTML and CSS skills
* Strong single page .js experience

The Nice-to-haves

* PHP (Cake, Symphony, Zend preferred) is a plus but not required
* Previous startup experience
* Leadership background
* Experience building an application from start to delivery

How to Apply

Please submit your resume on our job page.

Who we are

We are a small professional placement firm focused on making a difference in our community. We give back literally and figuratively by sponsoring great local programs, supporting Meetup groups, and by organizing events focused on the startup world in Denver and Boulder.

We don't identify with the sales-y or pushy approach that this industry is known for. We pride ourselves on having a candid, honest, straightforward conversation around cultural and technical matching with our clients and we have the same conversation with our candidates.

We are not interested in helping you just find a job, we want to help you find a career doing what you are passionate about. This means that if it's not a great match, we'll tell you. If we agree that there's a good match, we'll ask you to research our client and then decide whether you want to talk to them.

Our passion is to help our clients build great teams, not just fill positions and we believe our collaborative, honest approach is the right way to do this. Our mantra is "quality over quantity" in everything we do.
