OK gang - this is final days before our Expo and Plant Sale.
We have over 20 vendors and exhibitors coming to sell, speak and teach classes.
We want to clean up any last items of debris, like twigs and branches.
We also want to clean up the work areas, make sure things look presentable. Put up hoses and bricks and boards and such.
This will be a great chance for us to attract new members to our group, and create general awareness of our teaching environment.
It will be a huge help if as many of you as possible can come on Saturday so we can do this final preparation.
LEAFMINER ALERT: The chard has leafminers. Any of you who can get out to the Ranch before Saturday (or we can do this then whatever I don't find before then), PLEASE look on the underside of the chard leaves for tiny rows of white, skinny eggs laid side to side, usually in packs of 4-8. Wipe them off. Any leaves you see tunneling in, please detach. They're fine to eat, but if the pests mature and lay another cycle of eggs, our crop will be severely infested.
