"Learn Python the Hard Way" Workshop

Learn python programming! Python is a programming language praised for its balance of power and ease of use -- an ideal language for beginners.

This is a series of 10 Python programming workshops, meeting every 2 weeks, and working through the free online textbook "Learn Python the Hard Way" by legendary programming curmudgeon Zed Shaw. This series is open to all ages. Hack Lab membership is not required, and no prior programming experience is required. All you need is a laptop, decent typing skill, and an eagerness to learn!

This will not be a typical student/teacher class. We'll be spending most of the time writing code together! David Lowe, a professional programmer and python expert, will be leading the workshops, available to help and answer whatever questions may come up.

Non-members are encouraged to make a small donation to the Rogue Hack Lab for each workshop, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
