The Shattered Star [Pathfinder]

From the ashes of Thassilon, an ancient power shall rise again!

The ancient empire of the runelords may be long dead, yet the legacy of Thassilon continues to haunt the frontier realm of Varisia. With the rise of one runelord only narrowly thwarted, Korvosa reeling after the curse of the Crimson Throne nearly brought the city to its knees, and Riddleport rebuilding after a close call with a falling star, the people of Varisia fear that the greatest threat to their land has yet to play its hand. When agents of the newest Pathfinder Society lodge in Magnimar learn of a fragmented artifact scattered throughout the lands of old Thassilon, it falls to a new band of heroes to step in and gather up the seven fragments of this Shattered Star. For if the greatest prize of Thassilon's first ruler cannot save Varisia... what can?

The Shattered Star Adventure Path is a first in Paizo's Adventure Path line—a complete campaign set after the events of previous Adventure Paths. Shattered Star serves as a spiritual sequel to Rise of the Runelords, Curse of the Crimson Throne, and Second Darkness alike, yet it delves into a brand new storyline, making it as good as a group's first introduction to Varisia as a return to old stomping grounds. The Shattered Star Adventure Path focuses on the hunt for a sundered artifact, its pieces scattered throughout the land in some of its most dangerous and notorious dungeons—with the exception of the city of Magnimar, every location featured in the Shattered Star Adventure Path is brand new and filled with both dangers and treasures alike!

This is technicaly not a Pathfinder Society game however, I was informed that while you can't take your character from this game into a PFS game, you can still get credit for it.

Character Creation

Part of the reason this isn't a PFS game is that it opens the door for me to allow weird character concepts like a cat folk gunslinger or an android barbarian with magic item creation feats as long as your fellow players don't feel that you are too OP.

I'm going to go with an (almost) anything goes approach. The exception being using races with racial hit die or that are clearly monsterous or OP like drow nobles or pureblood azlanti. I would also restrict the game to official pathfinder stuff only.  So fans of Psions, I'm psorry, they don't really fit in to this psetting.

Character Creation is the High Fantasy point buy with average gold, and average hp progression.

I would prefer it if you were not evil but if you are dead set on being an assassin or really want to try being a Barbarian Monk or whatever I'll waive the alignment restriction.

Go ahead and also pick 2 traits. Item creation feats are permitted but if you want you can swap out automatic one for the ones PFS gives you.

Hey so I was going to make a sorc into dragon disciple. You can start dragon disciple at 6th level if you build it right and I was wondering if that is ok.

Reason being is a friend of greg and me just had his saturdays opened up due to job change and asked if there were any slots available to join. Also so I can get a general concept of turning my cleric into a real bandaid box, I.e. change his diety, domains, and spendage of character gold.
