Fresno RPG Meetup

Come and meet your fellow gamers. Try out new RPGs or play your old favorites.

The meetup's a great time to play the games that have been sitting on your shelves for too long. If you've never GMed, the group will provide a place to develop your skills. If your old group scattered to the winds, find cool new people to role-play with.

I think this Meetup was a great success. I think I counted 16 people! We had three games running- Dogs in the Vineyard, Star Wars Saga Edition, and D&D 3.5/Pathfinder... all with full tables!

Thanks, everyone for coming out to play, and I hope to see you at the next one. If you want to run a game next time, it's never too soon to post the game or genre so people can plan ahead. And if you have a request for a game you'd like to play, please post it in the comments ASAP. This will give GMs time to prepare a great game for you.

Also, please remind me to take pictures next time; I always forget!

I wish I'd been able to make it; it sounds like a lot of fun gaming!

Thanks to all of the people that stepped up to run games for the Meetup. Your efforts are appreciated.

Do we need more GMs? I can bring a 4e Gamma World delve if there's too much more players than games.

Better to have too many games than not enough. Turnout is unpredictable.

I take that back. I'm missing half my materials. Been a few years since I ran this. Hello BTW. My first time coming to this meetup, haha.

Yeah, I would much rather play

Sorry to tempt you Andrae; a sudden last minute family development means that I won't be able to join you. Please bring your game--I hope you all have a lot of fun.

Okay, I'm preparing to run Star Wars Saga Edition. It's the D20 version. I'll have some pre-generated characters ready so we can get right to the action!

There may be enough people for more than one table if all the RSVPs show up. Scott usually has something ready to run, and Bryan may have something as well. If you want to GM a game of your own, please let us know here in the comments. Thanks!

Any chance of playing a Dungeons and Dragons game playing with the Dragonlance Campaign setting? Just an idea. I'd love to bring a character through the phases of joining the Knights of Solomnia.

Well I played back in the days of second edition, but can adapt quickly I think. By the way, you met me tonight in your game. I'm the new bard that joined you, Edwyrd Goodnote.

I'd love to do some sci-fi, so far I've only done fantasy and it sounds awesome

Who's running a game this time? And what game? I'm ready for some sci-fi action if you're taking requests.... or post-apocalyptic! With lots of snow and acid rain and biker gangs but on snowmobiles.
