Re: RON PAUL 2012 PITTSBURGH UPDATE (March 24, 2012) - IMPORTANT LOCAL MEETING

From: Andy

Hello everyone.  Reminder that today is the last day for you to register to vote for the April 24th primary.  Also, if you're interested in being a write-in candidate for CD-14 Alternate Delegate to help Ron Paul get elected at the Republican National Convention, you need to write me now at AndyMaul - at - yahoo.com and/or call me at 4l[masked]O82.  In your short essay and/or speech described below for us to vote on, please apply them to the eleven "Issues" on Ron Paul's page...
First indicate whether you agree or disagree with Ron Paul on each one, and then maybe expand on at least four of them to fill the 5-minute speech and/or 1-page essay as requested below.  These issues include: Abortion, Health Care, Economy, National Defense, End The Fed, Taxes, Second Amendment, Workers’ Rights, Homeschooling, Immigration, Energy

Before we vote, we may discuss, limiting questions to 1 minute per person and candidate responses to 2 minutes.

THANKS!  LET ME KNOW BY NOON, TOMORROW (TUESDAY).

Subject: RON PAUL 2012 PITTSBURGH UPDATE (March 24, 2012) - IMPORTANT LOCAL MEETING

PLEASE ATTEND THE IMPORTANT MINI-CAUCUS MEETING DESCRIBED BELOW. WE'RE ALSO LOOKING FOR ONE MORE PERSON TO PLAY A KEY ROLE IN BEING AN ALTERNATE DELEGATE TO THE RNC. THE BATTLE IS FAR FROM OVER.

SUNDAY RON PAUL LITERATURE NETWORKING AT TARENTUM GUN SHOW
Tomorrow (Sunday), we won't have a table inside, so we'll flier cars later Sunday afternoon when the weather forecast looks better.  After noon, the chance of rain is just described as "slight".  Don't want to flier cars when it's too windy or if there's a good chance of rain.  Not sure I can make it, but if you do this be sure you focus on using the 2nd Amendment Gun Rights slim jims (2008 fliers are still ok for Dr. Consistent).  If you attend the event, go there in your Ron Paul gear and walk around with your clothing proclaiming the message. Whatever you feel would be good.  RSVP here...

MONDAY LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE
If you're not yet registered, this Monday is the last day for you to do so.  Get a voter registration card (from libraries, post offices, other government locations, from the link below, or any of the local Ron Paul leaders), complete it and hand deliver it to your county elections office. For Allegheny County, it's the 6th floor of the County Office Building (542 Forbes Ave, downtown Pittsburgh).  Other locations are indicated on the voter registration form.
Downloadable Voter Registration form => http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt/gateway/PTARGS_0_160329_770861_0_0_18/OnlineVoterRegFormBlank.pdf

DONATIONS REQUESTED
We've set up a donation site for you to help contribute to our campaigning costs.  If you can help financially contribute to the local Pittsburgh-area Ron Paul 2012 group, it would be appreciated. We have already spent many hundreds of dollars of our own money for costs such as transportation, filing fees, and material costs for supplies and making signs. We'd also like to rent tables at area events to promote Dr. Paul.  Anything that you can give will be appreciated. A local goal for $1000 requested has been set.

Pittsburgh Ron Paul PLANNING & MINI-CAUCUS Mtg - Panera Bread (3800 Forbes)

Tuesday, March 27, 2012, 6:30 PM
Tuesday, March 27, 2012, 6:30pm-9:00pm
Please note the location: Panera at 3800 Forbes Ave, about 1/4 mile north of the Panera on Blvd of the Allies - park in a parking garage or in street parking (meters may be free at this time, but verify first).
If you're not already a ballot candidate, are you interested in being a CD-14 write-in Alternate Delegate candidate to the Republican National Convention to debate/convince others to support Ron Paul? This is very important as the RNC will likely be brokered (where all may vote as they wish). If so interested, let Andy know ASAP; you'll either need to prepare a short 5-minute presentation for this meeting or send to Andy (AndyMaul -at- yahoo.com) no later than Tuesday at noon a 250 word (1 page) maximum essay to be read at the meeting if you can't attend.  We'll then all collectively vote towards the meeting's end to see who'll we'll support for write-in candidate.  If there are write-in candidates from other CDs, let Andy know ASAP (at email above or 4l2 - 478 -9O82).
**Join us as we help Ron Paul win the Pennsylvania Republican Primary on April 24, 2012, the Republican National Convention on August 27-30, 2012, and then the U.S. Presidency on November 6th**
Try as much as possible to attend the "PLANNING & ACTION" meetings.  Here you can get the latest information about activities and suggest new activities and strategies.  You can also obtain a few fliers to hand out at the networking events.  Also voter registration cards can be obtained here, as well as at government buildings such as public libraries.
*Pennsylvania is a closed primary state, so you MUST register as a Republican in order to be able to vote for Ron in the primary, which is very important. In a closed primary system, only voters registered with a given party can vote in that party's primary*
