Ron Paul has asked us all to be a part of the "Precinct Project", to join our local Republican committees and become influential. As Ron Paul said while running for president, he doesn't want to do anything for us as much as wanting to stay out of our lives. If you're in this movement just to get Ron Paul elected or into the Cult-of-Personality for Ron Paul, then you are truly short-sighted. Ron Paul doesn't want to be our king, and if by some miracle he becomes elected, who will follow Ron Paul after his term into the White House? Other tyrants like what we had before Ron Paul? If you are not on your local committee, being among those influential within the party on who to support and endorse, then you are part of the problem to not bring about a foundational change for the better. This was asked by Ron Paul from all of you to be on your local committees; will you respond?
What are the bare minimum requirements to be on committee? You have to be a Republican, that's it. What about meetings? You don't really have to attend any. If you become active or as a chairperson, it would be expected that you arrange & attend a monthly meeting for an hour or two. If you really want to be active, then you can help arrange literature drops and poll working for the best candidates out there, and they don't have to necessarily be in your area. If the geographic boundaries of your committee doesn't have any
worthy candidates on the ballot, then you're free to make arrangements to go where the freedom candidates are to volunteer your efforts.
So being on committee can be as little effort or much effort as you have time & resources for. There's no reason why you shouldn't be on committee, and Ron Paul is asking you to change the Republican Party and America for the long term.
Today there's a meeting you should attend. If you can't attend, you should send your name, address, and phone to one of the Ron Paul leaders (or respond below) that you're interested in being on committee. We will relay your interest to the local Republican chairmen who can appoint you to committee. Then four years from now, you can gather about 12 signatures within your neighborhood to be an elected committee-person. Both men and women are needed. Ron Paul has asked this of you, this simple thing, please help to restore the Republican Party and America to greatness
