“ Lots of interesting conversation and things to think about as well as investigate. Good ideas. A break after an hour to stretch legs, use restroom, etc., would have made it more comfortable given metal chairs and how long we sat. Clearly there needs to be time for socializing either before or after so that people who want to "catch up" with old friends can do that on their time, and people who don't know anyone and came for the program don't have to sit through that. ”

“ Rondout Valley Permaculture is doing extraordinary work bringing together movers and shakers in the permaculture movement, seeking to restore some semblance of balance bioregions and ecosystems too out of kilter to continue with the status quo. Urgent work needs to be done to prevent ecological and social catastrophe, and Rondout Valley Permaculture is a leader in getting that work done. ”

“ Anyone devoting energy to the realization of permaculture into everyday living is guided by a good idea. It's a work in progress and only time will tell how RVP translates the vision of permaculture into action. Egalitarianism seems to go hand in hand with the philosophy of permaculture, because it allows us to value as equals unique human individuals in a way counter to the societal structures that keep digging us in deeper, treating 'ordinary people' as dross. More dumpster filler. I'm on a quest to find egalitarianism. Does it live in RVP? I'm not sure. What do you think? ”
