What are your permaculture projects this year?!?

Coping with Lead & Arsenic Contamination in Organic Agriculture Friends and I are looking at property for community living & organic agriculture in the Mid-Hudson Valley area, and are dismayed to see previous farmland & orchard parcels contaminated with Lead and Arsenic. Have you tested your soils for lead and arsenic? Taken preventative/remedial actions because of contamination? What contamination levels have warranted action? How do other local organic/permaculture farmers cope with the contamination? thanks, Hrana

I live in New Paltz/Rosendale and am using some permaculture ideas, went to last Summer's big weekend at Epworth
