Raleigh Dance

The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, and joyous circle dances. They use sacred phrases, chants, movements, and music from the world's wisdom traditions. There are no performers, no audience members, and no experience is necessary!

Come be inspired by the beauty and grace of the dances and the company of dancing friends.

Our theme this month will be 'Renewal of Life'.  As the seasons change from winter to spring, we witness once again the transformation and renewal as the Earth begins to green with life.

Renewal through the rhythm of cycles of transformations of life is the way we know we are part of the natural world.

The Dances can help us with the allowing of the transformations, which may not feel so good as we go through them but in the long run lead us to happiness and fulfillment.

We honor all the sacred traditions as well as the emerging ones through which we discover how to live our human lives in community

Potluck: 6-7 PM, Dance: 7:30-9:30 PM, $5 suggested donation. Contact Hayat Laurie Lindgren, [masked] for more info. Hope to see you Saturday night.

Please RSVP so we know you will be joining us. Looking forward to seeing you at the Raleigh Dance.
