This event will be held in Auburn. Let's get a little dirty and give back to our local community. I hope to see everyone there! This is a free event and REI will provide a free lunch for all of our hard work. If anyone would like to carpool to this event please let me know and we can arrange it. It is about a 30 minute drive up to the park from Roseville.

Roseville REI — Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service: Hidden Falls

  • Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM PST
  • Partner Organization: Placer Co., FATRAC, REI
  • Group Size: 75

Description: Join thousands of volunteers across the country for Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. REI is teaming with Placer County Parks and Folsom Auburn Trail Riders Action Coalition (FATRAC) for this special day in honor of Dr. King and his legacy. We will be at Hidden Falls Regional Park in Auburn, installing picnic tables and interpretive signs as well as working to build and maintain park trails. Help us give back to the trails and open spaces we love through volunteerism. Please bring snacks, water, work gloves, and wear long pants with close-toed shoes. REI will provide lunch for volunteers. Most tools are provide, but there is a need for additional loppers/pruners, shovels, digging bars, and post hole diggers. Registration is required

Alyssa-Do you want to meet in Roseville and ride up to Auburn together or do you want to drive separately?
