Let's meetup for a Bug-Out-Bag Show-n-Tell

This is part 2 to a 4 part series. You do not have to attend all 4 parts, you are welcome to jump in where you can.

Show and tell time! These are always so much fun!

Bring your Bug-out-bag (get-home-bag) to the party! This is an excellent way for us to learn from one another. Get tips and ideas and show off your best BOB features.

From Zac:

We have discussed what to put in your bag now let's see what you carry and share feedback! Please bring your bag, even if you have never made one, you don't think it's very good, etc! Any level of preparedness is fine. No judgement just our community helping each other and sharing great ideas!

Since you have already seen my bag (I'll still bring it) I will bring a basic, cheap budget bag and as a group we can go through the major categories listed below and quickly share what you carry for that category.additionally I will show you a budget solution as well as a budget "next step" upgrade.  If you have questions or need suggestions this group can help! We will use only these bags we are building in the next 2 campouts (parts 3 & 4 of our series) so make sure you learn from here to pack carefully and ask a lot of questions!

Sections we will cover:

Water (harvesting, carrying and collection)

Food and cooking

Wayfinding (maps, compass, GPS, etc)

Power, lighting and comms (batteries, headlamps, whistles, solar, radios, etc)

Tools and repair (knives, multitools, paracord, patch kits, etc)

Fire making

Shelter and sleep

Clothing and wearables

First aid

I look forward to seeing you!

Will this series run again? I missed the beginning and won't be available for this one but I'm very interested.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
