I would like to invite all my friends from the RPN to come to my house for a show-and-tell about raising chickens and rabbits in a suburban backyard. I will show you around and answer any questions. Then we can relax, sample some rabbit stew, and talk about prepping.

Hello everyone! Since your last visit to my house back in May (I can't believe it has been that long!) Amanda and I have moved all the animals to our new farm in Ball Ground, Ga. We would love to have you all out there some time soon to see what we have going on. I will check with Amy to see if she would like to plan a meetup. We also have a great area for camping and even a little target shooting!

In the mean time, we are trying to get our new egg laying flock set up so that we can start selling eggs. Here is a short video we made that we wanted to share with you: http://youtu.be/_NVJp1I3zMo

If you know of anyone in Ball Ground or Roswell that would be interested in getting fresh eggs, please send them our information: http://igg.me/at/freehomefarm

Hope to see you all again soon!

If anyone is interested in learning how to slaughter a chicken, my friends at East West Farm in Marietta will be processing 200 pasture raised chickens for their customers on May 31st, 9:00am - 4:00pm. I will be there all day. Anyone is welcome to come watch or if you are brave enough you can jump in and help. Stay for an hour or stay all day. We will teach you everything you need to know. Just make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. It really is a lot of fun. Not the killing part but we always have great conversations around the table as we work. Not to mention, it is very rewarding to learn a new skill that may come in handy one day.

Here is their website with the address http://eastwestfarm.com/contact-us/

Message me if you want any more information.

I hope I have enough seating for everyone! This will be a casual meeting so we probably won't all be sitting at the same time but, if you have one handy, you might want to bring a camping/folding chair.

Sandra, I wanted to apologize for letting you know at the last minute -- I am not able to attend. Please let me know if you are available another time to do a short show and tell. I am so disappointed and really wanted to meet you and everyone. I am excited about being a member of this group. I look forward to meeting you soon. Anne
