We are the Rotaract Club of Towson! A community service organization made up of 18-30 year old based out of Goucher College. The Rotaract Club of Towson, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Towson provides opportunities for Towson community members as well as Goucher students to address the physical and social needs of the community, build and promote relationships between people worldwide, make an impact on individuals or groups of people, and enhance service skills that will be helpful in the future. Rotaract participates in local and international service projects as well as leadership training.
The goals of Rotaract are:
1. To develop professional and leadership skills; 2. To emphasize respect for the rights of others, and to promote ethical standards and the dignity of all useful occupations; 3. To provide volunteer and service opportunities for young people (ages 18-30) in order to address the needs and concerns of the community, both within Goucher and Towson. 4. To learn cooperation skills and provide a way for Rotaract members to learn from Rotary members. 5. To motivate young people for eventual membership in Rotary.
