Autism Speaks Walk

Help as a team of volunteers for the Autism Speaks Walk ! Upon arrival, you are asked to check-in at the Volunteer Room inside the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Please make sure that you allow enough time to arrive, park and get inside to the Volunteer Check-in Room by that time. Please forward this information on to those that will be joining you on Saturday that we do not have e-mail addresses for.

Volunteer attire is jeans, shirt and comfortable shoes. Most assignments will be inside but some assignments will take you outside, so plan accordingly with the weather. If your assignment takes you outside, we will provide you with a Volunteer T-Shirt that will need to be returned at the end of your shift.

Due to limited space we highly recommend carpooling downtown, parking on the streets or in the parking structure next door to the Bradley Center!

After parking, please make your way to the Kohls Gate (NW Corner at 6th and Highland) of the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Once you enter the building, please come directly to the Volunteer Check-in room (located with the V on the attached map).

Once you arrive at the volunteer room,EVERY VOLUNTEER MUST SIGN-INbefore receiving your volunteer assignments as assignments on the attached list are subject to change. We ask that you have your Volunteer Waiver completed and ready for you and those accompanying you when you check-in to make the check-in process smoother. If you are assigned to assist with Parking or Registration, please refer to the attached documents for more details before you arrive on Saturday.

If you will be with us all day, you may want to bring a snack with you or you can buy something from the concession stands. Please limit the personal belongings that you bring with you as the Volunteer Room is available but items left are at your own risk.

After your assignments are over, please head back to the Volunteer Room asALL VOLUNTEERS MUST SIGN-OUTbefore they leave. If you were given a Volunteer T-Shirt, you will need to return that shirt before you leave at the end of your shift!!

Thank you again for all that you do to support Autism Speaks and the Milwaukee Walk Now for Autism Speaks event. We look forward to seeing all of you on Saturday morning

* please let Bridget know if you have not received the email from Mereodth with the volunteer waiver attached, every volunteer will need to bring one upon checking in! Email hirthe.bridget@gmail. com if you need a copy

    Hi All,

I'd love to participate in this with everyone! Are we volunteering to help as staffers or walking? Let me know when details are available.

    Thank you!

We'll be staffers, not walkers, for this one! Bridget is meeting with the organizer on Friday, and will have more info for us about what specifically we'll be doing then :)
