East Town’s Coffee Connections: Developing Wisconsin’s Future Leaders (YP Week)

We are a Community Partner for this event, below are the details about what it will include:

There is a real business case for developing future leaders – more than 10,000 Boomers are retiring each day.  This means that knowledge and wisdom will be leaving companies at a very rapid rate, unless, of course, that information is transferred effectively to the next generation.  Often companies will have formal programs for succession planning, but in the end, the responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills will lie with the new generation.

Led by Tracy Johnson of Tempo, Joan Prince – Vice Chancellor of UWM, Julie Cole – Vice President of Marketing for Manpower Group, and Beth Weirick – Executive Director of Milwaukee Downtown Business Improvement District #21 will discuss how you can position yourself for success.

Points include:
·         The importance of identifying and engaging a champion;
·         Knowing what work/life balance really means;
·         How to take risks;
·         Developing your personal brand.

From this program, you will have actionable items to define and create your own success!
