Hi I'm an aspiring film director and writer. I have written articles for the Austin Film Meet and Filmmaking.net and I a currently writing my scrip for my short film "Prism" .

Who is your favorite author / screenwriter / director / etc?

That's easy. Terry Brooks followed closely by Neil Gaiman, screenwriter David S. Goyer and Quentin Tarantino and Directors there are a lot so I won't even go there.

Are you involved in any writing (or writing-related) activities you'd like to mention?

I write for my blog makeamovienow.net a resource for filmmakers in understanding the business side of filmmaking.

What genres / forms do you enjoy writing; Reading?; what would you like to try?

Drama, suspense, thriller and sci-fi.

That's certainly a question I have never been asked before. I'm a sucker for chips ahoy. My goal is to drink Tequila in an exotic location like Thailand whenever I want.

I'm happy with the organization and the system it has in place to focus on different aspects of writing. On day if for talking only, one day is to actually go through writing techniques, one day is for critiques. This is going to be the standard I will compare other meet-ups.
