Anne Fadiman; her essays read like conversations with an old friend. In the genre of fantasty, nobody does it better than Stephen Donaldson. When you realize you've forgotten to breathe, you know you've found a great writer.
Just me by myself, although I've recently gotten a brother-in-law to start writing as a form of therapy. My last 'Project' was to sort all (2000+) of the books in my house according to the Dewey Decimal System.
Familiar essays and memoirs, primarily. Humorous fiction also. I write short stories, and have no interest in writing a novel.

Well, there's this thing I make for breakfast... It involves an English Muffin, Swiss Cheese, a fried egg and two slices of Taylor Pork Roll. It's a New Jersey thing.
I've been writing by myself for a few years now, and want to get feedback from (relatively) unbiased individuals in an effort to take it to the next level.
