Art's "Climb to Crown Point" ride

Glenn Otto Park (map)

Selected By: Kevin

Art's "Climb to Crown Point" ride.

When: May 13th 6pm.

Art will lead another of his now famous after work rides. This time a popular ride from Troutdale out to the Vista House on the Historic Columbia Gorge Scenic Highway. Grades on the historic highway do not exceed 5%. Speed Demon Art promises not to lead this as fast as his "Casual Blue Lake Ride" ;-)

Start at the park from the South side of the bridge where East Clumbia River Hwy meets the Historic Columbia River Hwy. (Halsey St Bridge, location mapped on Glenn Otto Park website link)

This will be an approximately 18 mile round trip with the road being a steady climb from Troutdale to the top at Women's Forum State Park at Chanticlear Point, then descend slightly to the Vista House at Crown Point.

Parking can be at the Glenn Otto Park or where Exit 18 meets Hwy 84. We will start at the park.

Afterwards grab a bite and a possible beer at a local establishment.

Ride canceled due to inclement weather. Art was great about getting the word out early. It was a good call! Rumor has it this ride will be rescheduled for a later date.
