The Tuesday Hill Slayer

A dose of hardcore bikey rejuvenation: a varying route through bicycle heaven of 25-30+ miles, and 2500+ feet of climbing.  Hardcore is more about attitude than conditioning. Even if you're kind of a slow climber, come on out.  The route will always be hard, but we'll be nice, and if you keep at it, you'll get better.

It's Spring, yay! Start time is moving to 5pm. As soon as possible we'll make it late enough that you office slugs can join us after you punch out.

This week's route: Up Moreland, out Skyline, down MacNamee, up Newberry, back via Old CP and Phillips. Oy. Bring legs.

Ride leader: Paul Johnston [masked][masked]

Date and Time of Ride: Tuesdays at 5:30 pm

This Week's Route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2335209

Route Stats: 33 miles, 3596 feet of climbing

Pace and terrain rating. Maniacal, yet friendly.

Type of ride: This is a very strong intermediate to expert level training ride. We will regroup at hilltops and major turns. If you are concerned about your ability to keep up, feel free to give it a shot, but be a good sport and be prepared to make your own way back if the pace or difficulty are too much.

Weather Cancellation Policy. Only extreme weather will cancel this ride. ****************************************************

Mandatory for all riders.

Helmets must be worn at all times while riding. This is a requirement and not a request. Obey traffic laws and remember you’re a representative of the greater cycling community and should conduct yourself that way on the road. Represent us well!

Have their ride in good working order and bring a flat kit & the right size spare tube on all rides. If there is an issue with proper working or lack of equipment you may be asked to sit the ride out.

Please ask for help if you are ill equipped prior to the ride, we will help if we can!

I'm selfishly glad you joined us too. Paul kept leaving me in his "dust" but you got extra miles by coming back for me. I thought this was a sword fight and we were out slaying! LOL
