Training for BikeMS and Cycle Oregon 2013. As my distances get longer, it's getting harder to find good, safe routes. I'd like to try out a few group rides.
4X/week, 150+ miles, 15-18 mph, 13 on a hilly route.
55 miles, Willamette Valley, some rollers and some flat.
Working my way to longer, hillier rides. Trying not to be crushed by the 100 mile 1st day of BikeMS or the Strawberry Mountains in Cycle O.
Greater Portland, preferably but not strictly Clackamas County.
Returning to cycling after a 20 year hiatus. "It's never too late to start (over)!"
