I was sorry to miss you yesterday! Any quick hints from Dinshaw Gobhai's talk on ‘why pomodoro time management for coding rules’ ? I know Pomodoro, so I'm wondering how many minutes he alots, and maybe if he uses it for each part of the Tdd cycle ? So perhaps timer=5m, start the red, timer=20min , start the green?

feel free to write a bunch of tests up front (just the it '...' part, not the actual code), but then as you write the code, for both test and function, do it one test at a time.

@Dinshaw , thank you so much for your notes re Pomodoro/Tdd! I'm sorry I'm late replying, but it was for a good cause! I was writing my first little 'real' ruby app for a job application. Rspec is so terrific. It worked great, and I was pretty close to your model. I want to get better at the 25minutes idea I do get engrossed :),
