4th Wednesday of the Month RubiABQ meeting

Let's chat about Ruby and Rails.  Some days we'll write code and/or tests, some days we'll just socialize.

In the early days, people showed up because they were hoping to find Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails jobs.  These days we have more job openings than we do Ruby programmers.  So, if you'd like to learn enough to get paid to program Ruby, please join us.

We look forward to seeing you there!

I'm thinking "The Cube' for wednesday's meetup. It should be easy to setup some tables and they have decent food and beer. http://www.thecuberestaurant.com/Location.html

    No location?

    I've sent them a letter.

Another option would be to partner with HTTQ to use their projector on days we go to presentation format.

That conference room was really nice. Verge would be really generous if they could let us use it.

Does anyone in the group have a projector? Most meetings we don't use the screen, but occasionally it's nice...

Should I reach out to Verge to see if they'd be willing to sponsor us by providing that conference room?

If we dont have to use a big flatscreen, I think it would open it up to a lot more places. I think we might get by with a big table and I can bring an external keyboard and mouse. Now we just have to decide on a place to meet for the next meetup. Any ideas?

One Up Elevated Lounge is closed, permanently, I think.

We need to think about what this group wants to do and when. I'm willing to put more effort into it in 2013 than I did in 2012.

    Any ideas?
