A walk on the Thames Path between two of the most beautiful points in London’s suburbs, Richmond and Kingston. We go from the social buzz of Richmond to explore willowy paths and tree lined banks.

This promises is a fabulous stretch of the Thames. Once at Kingston, it’s on to one of Kingston’s pubs for a well earned drink and meal. It's not the classiest place butt it's big enough to fit us all in it.

Distance: 6 Miles aprox

Walking Time: 2.5 – 3.0 hours aprox

Meeting Point: Outside Richmond station beside Paperchase. Plan your journey, Richmond is further than you think!

Things to bring: Water - at least 1 litre

Camera Money for pub

Do not arrive hungry as we often walk this one straight through.

(Wear walking shoes!)

Worried about coming on your own? More on walking pace, and questions about distance, footwear, weather, return train times or safety? Refer to our frequently asked questions here:

If I can do anything to make this walk more accessible please get in touch by sending me a text message or voicemail.

Train Travel: On our walks we ask people to group into as many group 4 or group 3 groups as possible, you will have to travel back with the group.. Read more here: http://www.meetup.com/RuggedTracks/messages/boards/thread/17073472

Important:

1. You must be able to at least run 100 meters for a bus to join one of our hikes.

2. Always check the group website for live updates to meeting point and directions before leaving for an event!

I am always looking for assistant organisers for weekend events. Come along and ask me about it, it's the best fun you can have!

Rugged Tracks is now the home of the consecutive BOGOFF!!!

On our day events if you buy one, you get the next hike you come to for free (doesn't have to be consecutive). Then, every consecutive hike you come to after that, you also get free.

We track this via the comments at the end of each walk, (if in doubt we'll look at the photo's).

Let's see who can get the most free this year!

Also trains work well tomorrow from Clapham Jctn to Richmond- frequent and quick (especially look for direct ones)

Yes I've noticed the trains are not going to Richmond station, however there is a bus service or overground.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
