This route takes us through the High Weald, the area between the north and the south downs, it's an AOB - Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and an amazing place for a day's hiking.
We'll be just inside East Sussex border with Kent, green spaces and woodlands collide to form the patchwork landscape that the High Weald is know for.
The surroundings areas striking and it's also possible to see some amazing creatures like deer and I'm told peacock (?). I'm not quite sure where these peacock are, but hey lets go peacock spotting and find out. We take in a lot of woodland we'll be getting all the Autumn colours on this one, I am also told that there is a really good 16th Century Inn called the Greyhound so it sounds like an awesome day out!
This is a completely new route so although we will obviously have all the maps compass etc, we will be working it out as we go along, so you really do need to be up for exploring! :D
