The run will be at a conversational 11-13 minute pace (very manageable for most non-runners). At 11:30am you and other participants will be taken up to an area near Piney Branch Parkway, suitable for warming up. Fro-Runner will do a brief introduction and guide you through an active stretch. This will be followed by the run, a 2-miler through Rock Creek Park. Stops are anticipated for additional stretching, watering, and procrastinating. The run will end off Beach Drive, near Irving and the session will conclude with a static stretch, health discussion, and bs-ing. A restaurant (TBD) will be selected in Columbia Heights for feasting and drinks (please contact us if you have any suggestions).
