this Meetup is announced to the Group
601 University Drive, San Marcos, TX
Not sure if I posted here already.....Will be conducting a study looking at whether or not barefoot runners have better balance when compared to shod runners. Pretty cool stuff. If interested in participation, it is pretty easy. We could set a day convenient to you and have you come to Texas State University in san marcos and spend about a hour or so with us doing some light paperwork and then testing your balance. You will get a small gift card to help out with the travel and get to find out if BF running helps balance.
Will probably be in Jan or Feb. You need to be running around at least 9 miles per week in a barefoot condition (can vary a little). With no major Lower extremity injuries in the last year. We are talking barefoot, no footwear. You can run in shoes too, as long as you have been running at least that amount barefoot too.
If you have any questions. Let me know. Really need some BF runners! I think it can be a good thing to know the information the testing will produce.
Thanks for you time. If I posted this already, I apologize. Shoot me an email if you have any interest.
