UPDATE: I am canceling thus event due to lightening.
The week of August 17 starts my half-marathon training. Wednesday is one of the days I'll be running, so why not Meetup? Each week we'll do a different workout- could be intervals on the Edison bridge, sprints at Lakes Park, maybe even some calisthenics...as well as long runs (obviously). I'll post the planned workout each week. The goal is to build each week so that we are finely tuned machines by the half-marathon on November 9!
The first run will be a choose your own distance at Lakes Park...something simple to start off the training and see what distance you are comfortable with. I plan on doing 7 miles.
