GREENHOUSE: Permaculture’s Many Creative, Beautiful & Practical Greenhouses

There is a greenhouse for any situation whether you DIY, hire a contractor, or repurpose another material. They can be built from cob, strawbale (adult “legos”), compressed earth block or simple PVC piping. Also repurpose windows, ladders or other materials in your creative greenhouse.

Learn proper orientation to the sun and your home, other natural methods of heating including chickens, materials to use or repurpose, locating in Permaculture zone 0 or zone 1, sequencing of the greenhouse in Permaculture design, and more from Permaculturist Donna Coleman.

Ladan Goodrum, our scheduled speaker, was called out-ot-town. Instead Donna will present this segment of our planned fall Permaculture and Sustainable Living course tonight (sneak preview) and Ladan will be rescheduled for Keller in the future, possibly July 16, but check meetup to make certain.

The opposite of a greenhouse is ??? and is just as important to the North Central Texas climate as the greenhouse is. Come find out on July 2.

Ask at the front desk for our location in the Keller Public Library.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
