“Russian Club OC” is a group that welcomes people from all walks of life who are interested in Russia and Russian culture.This group strives to create a Russian social network in OC, to give people a sense of Russian community, to give a feeling of being at home away from home.

“Russian Club OC” creates opportunities for Russians to speak their native language, to be around people who share the same culture, and the same background. This group brings together people who learned from the same textbooks at school, who sang the same songs, and watched the same movies. It is a place where people can forget about being foreigners and feel rather at home here.

“Russian Club OC” is here for people who recently arrived into this country and who might feel isolated and rather nostalgic about their homeland as well as for people who have been living here for a while and want to stay connected with their culture, language, and likeminded people.

Also, this group is for people of a second and third generation Russians, who may want to keep their Russian side alive.

“Russian Club OC” is open for people who are studying Russian, interested in its culture, and learning about its traditions or simply enjoy being around people of a different culture.
