Picnic 2014 - July 6th, Kensington Gardens

UPDATE: It's a bit cloudy but only less than 5% chance of rain according to latest MET Office forecast, which means... we will have our picnic as planned!
Bring an umbrella just in case. Also, IF it gets really bad, we plan to move to this pub nearby - the Greyhound, just a few minutes walk outside the Kensington Gardens, next to High Street Kensington Station.
Hope to see you all soon!

How do Russian-English Speakers pic-nic?

With blinys, cakes and many games - but also with an entertaining mix of "table topics" in the sunshine: fun, improvised speeches on any random topic organized by your special pic-nic Toastmaster! ))))

A great way to flex your laughing muscles but also to train your skill to think and act independently - and of course, meet new friends.

All this in the green scenery of Kensington Gardens.

Everyone is welcome, including first-timers, new members, friends and family - this is a great opportunity for you to socialize and to get to know more about the club and our activities.

We hope to repeat (and maybe exceed) our wonderful experience and success from 2013, so come along and enjoy.

Please let us know ASAP if you are coming so we can plan a great day for everyone.

Sunday, July 6th - 2 pm to 6 pm

Kensington Gardens
(Tentative location)
Closest stations: High Street Kensington, Queensway, Notting Hill

What to bring:
Yourself and your friends. If you can bring your favorite food and drinks, that would be good, but it's not compulsory.

Dear all who attended the picnic! Do you have contact details for Ilya - the guy with the fear of spiders. I need to forward him the details of one of the Toastmasters, Patrick Baron, from Early Birds, Covent Garden, who runs counselling on fears and can help him, but the email address I have for Ilya probably has a typing error in it - the emails bounce back. If you have Ilya's details, can you please let him have my email address: [masked] so that he could get in touch with me? I will email him Patrick's details. He will never be afraid of spiders again :) Spasibo!
