The new Russian Heritage group was created in response to the increasing number of Russian families who are committed to maintaining and teaching their language and deep cultural heritage as they raise their young children in New York City. This group will offer solution to build the foundation for language fluency and mastery of both native and non-native Russians. Families will be immersed in the Russian heritage and culture of poetry, folklore, music, sport, ballet and theater

Meeting with the participation of prominent representatives of the clergy, social, political and cultural figures.

Russian folk songs, romances and instrumental music by
A.Alyabyev, M.Glinka, E.Magalif, S.Rachmaninoff, P.Tchaikovsky, etc.
Being performed by outstanding musicians from Russia only once in America.
Master of ceremonies: poetess Nina Kartashova (Moscow) and poet Julian Lowenfeld (New York). In the program – poetry by A.Pushkin in Russian and English.
Did you guys know that April is Russian-American History Month in New York State?
For the first time in the three-century old history of Russians in the United States of America, the month of April will be celebrated in New York State as Russian-American History Month. Official recognition of the contributions of Russian Americans to the development of the United States will also serve to strengthen friendly relations between Russia and the US.
The main purpose of “Russian-American History Month” is to draw the attention of American audiences to the history of Russian Americans and the role they have played in the history of the US. Thus, at this point in the academic year, we can bring the focus of attention to students and the general public to help them acquire better understanding.
As part of the first RA History Month, in April 2012, there will be many events at venues around New York City and State.
