"Righting the Right"
Plaintiff in case lawsuit Term Limits, "Eight is Enough" against four Pinellas County Commissioners. In 1996, Pinellas voters overwhelmingly voted for term limits for county commissioner office by nearly 73%, but unknowing to the voters it was never put into the county charter that following January, so the vote stood null and void.
Citizens Patrick Wheeler, Maria Scruggs, and Beverly Billiris filed suit to bring voter's justice in June 2012 after a year of deliberations, Circuit Court Judge John Schaffer heard final hearing May 2, 2013, came back with his verdict May 17, 2013, a crippling blow for the plaintiffs, "No Term Limits for Commissioners"
Mr Wheeler a 23 year veteran in the Navy and 23 years in the CIA is not one man you want to tangle with, especially when his principles and rights, and the rights of over 200,000 voters have been so unjustly violated as he has said so many times, justice will be served in the courts. I will not rest till we win!
Patrick Wheeler is back, listen to Patrick and Maria Scruggs co-plaintiff on the show
