Would folks like to get together soon to have a meal and cup of tea? I would like to schedule something before Casandra leaves on April 22. Please post your thoughts and availability and I will post the plans.

small turnout but it was great to be with other steepesters. We made plans to get the group back on a regular meeting schedule.

Where is White tea available? It is very good, very subtle.

John several places in town sell white tea...Whole Foods, Teavana...even some of our members. I like white tea much better than green.
I can not make this one I will see you next time.

Did we decide on a location? Are we going with Cafe Aroma on Sunday?
Since they close at 3, maybe we should roll the time back to 1:00.
Sunday is better for me, but whichever day is chosen, I will try to make it.

Sat or Sun is good for me
Either works for me. If Saturday is chosen, I don't have church.
Thanks Phil for checking out Café Aroma. I have been stuck in the hospital the last couple of days. Have a question for the group if Saturday would be better n Sunday?
I stopped by their today it is real nice but real small only around 4 to 6 tables they serve 5 to 6 numi teas.
as anyone been to Café Aroma on Blanco? I see that they are open till 3 on Sunday

I will post a location tomorrow Wednesday so we can all make plans. I will admit I like the food at Mad Hatters, but tea selections can be thin. Will check if we can do pots of water and bring our own tea.
I thought she was closed on Sunday? But, if she isn't... I'm thinking a chicken salad sandwich sounds awesome.
Mad Hatters is always good.
what about Mad Hatters?
I just spoke with Vegeria they are closed on Sunday sorry I guess I am getting old and can't remember anything.
I would love to get together it has been too long. A couple of suggestions. The Java Coffee Shop down town next to the court house they have a restaurant connected to it so we could eat also, and access to the riverwalk. Another place is the Vegeria restaurant Broadway and 410 both places have wonderful food and tea.

I haven't been to either. Would you recommend one more than the other?
Both are very good Java Plaza has a better selection of tea but closes at noon it would have to be a morning trip Vegeria is open all day and has a great food bar so would be less expensive. I would recommend both.
Well, lets do Vegeria, then. The Meetup is scheduled for 14:00, and shouldn't interfere with us pious types and church, lol.
I may be able to attend, depending on where it is
Life is too short to drink bad tea !
