Mini Digital Scale for tea

If you've cooked or baked, you know that sometimes precise measurements are of the utmost importance. Well, the same is true of loose tea preparation, especially in these circumstances: 1) When preparing rare or expensive tea, because you don't want to waste even one-tenth of a gram; and  2) When making only one cup at a time, because small differences in tea/water ratio have more impact on the outcome; 3) When following instructions given by tea experts, because they often give dry tea amounts by weight rather than volume.

I have a little digital scale for weighing tea, and it works very nicely, with accuracy to one-tenth of a gram. It has been reliable for 2 years on the same pair of AAA batteries. It cost me over $20 because I paid for shipping, but today I saw the exact same scale for $18 with free shipping, from a seller I trust.

The catch is that you have to wait 3 weeks while it travels to you from China. I have never had to pay any customs fees for any of my imports direct from China. This seller also has simply fine and scrumptious tea and teaware, in addition to the scale. I drool over his stuff, and save up to purchase. (i have no connection to this seller. I just saw the scale, and thought how much better your fine tea by the cup would turn out if you each had a scale).
