Greetings! I just wanted to inform your group that the Parman Library at Stone Oak hosts board game nights every Thursday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. We play anything from Smallworld to Fluxx to Settlers of Catan. Join us!

Also, a few branches of the San Antonio Public Library will be hosting science lectures in accordance with Women's History Month. We've snagged some brilliant female scientists to talk about many interesting topics.:

-Forest Hills Library
Susan Pope, Southwest Research Institute presenting
Magnetic Explosions in Space
Wed, March 6 at 6:30 pm

-Maverick Library
Elyse Zavar, Texas State University presenting
Post-flood Community Responses and Decisions
Sat, March 9 at 4:00 pm

-Parman Library
Michele Johnson, Trinity University presenting
Genomics and Personalized Medicine, and What It All Really Means
Sat, March 30 at 2:00 pm

I hope these spark your interest and some of you can attend these events.

Thank you!

Parman Library is our library, but I play at Gamelot on Thursdays. 2 hours isn't much gaming too.
