Peace Meditation Circle

Join us for a bi-weekly Peace Meditation and Pot Luck. This group was started after the twin towers fell in New York in 2001 and has been meeting every other week since then.

There is a short reading followed by a 20 minute silent meditation. Following the meditation, a Talking Stick is passed. Participants may wish to share their meditation experience or something else that helps to uplift the group. Talking is not required and this is, in fact, an excellent opportunity to do what Erik Anderson describes as "deep listening". Prayers, silent or spoken, are shared at the end of the Peace Circle. A pot-luck dinner follows in the greenhouse. Love offering donations accepted.

*** Parking Entrance: 1700 Park St.N. St. Petersburg. Enter the parking lot for Tapas Restaurant and the boat launch. Follow the parking lot off to the left as far as it goes. You'll see the Sacred Lands sign. Call[masked] for information.

I'm so sorry that I was unavoidably detained in Pasco County until 8:00 - an hour away. By the time I got to Sacred Lands, the Peace Meditation Circle would have been finished and I would have still been an hour away from home. Hopefully, I will be able to attend the next one...Grace Terry

I apologize in advance that I will be arriving late, probably. I have a meeting in Trinity that starts at 5:30 p.m. - should last about an hour, but then I will have to drive down to St. Pete...I hope my arriving late is not too disruptive, if anyone would rather I did not come if I cannot arrive on time, just let me know, I respect and honor the sacred space of the peace meditation. Blessings to all, Grace

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
