To meet climbers that can safely belay and lead climb. And to meet people that want to learn those skills.

What rating do you climb on top rope and/or lead (if any) on sport or cracks outdoors?

TR: 10c sport, 10a trad, lead: 10a trad, 10b sport. Top rope waterfall ice 3.

What climbing gear, ropes do you own?

rope and 20 cams, 2 sets of stoppers and lots of quickdraws/slings/carabiners.

Can you lead or top rope belay w grigri or atc type device and tie in with a figure 8 to the rope?

yes, gri gri and ATC

What areas have you climbed in?

Owens river gorge, williamson rock, malibu creek, new jack city, Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne meadows, j tree, utah, thailand, Red Rocks, Ouray Colorado, Smith Rock

Hi John, I like your freedom to elect dictator cartoon. Want to try playing beach volleyball? I play Tu & Sun @ Ocean Park Beach Santa Monica. I meet ~100 vb people/yr but none play midweek/weekends year round for a great workout. So I offer a free class & hope 4-10 people show up regular after class to play, laugh some & have fun. Play 45 weeks/yr sometimes requires layers like winter hiking, skiing & winter sailing. A local beach has BBQ stands, tables, benches & vb nets for fun. Charles

Hi John, I understand your reluctance to pay for the class. We will have some meetups in the future where everyone is sharing their skills and I'm not the one doing all the teaching. I hope that you'll come out for some events in the future.

Hi~ Nice meeting u too (at Ed's place). I didn't end up going to Bad In Plaid cuz I was invited to the Katy Perry concert taping. She's not the most fantastic musician, but she puts on quite a show, so it was lots of fun. Hope u had a good time @ BIP. ~D
