Hail, all! My name is Jonathan. I came across this meetup group today looking for any kind of game developer presence here in San Antonio, and saw that you all had established a group nearby. The last 6 years or so I was working in Austin for various game companies, but I lived here in San Antonio for about 23 years growing up (I'm 29 now). Last year I resigned from the company I was working for and started working on creating my own independent game in Unity - thus moving back to San Antonio for a bit while I get things figured out.

I went to Judson High School and used to hangout at a comic book store nearby the Schertz library when I was going to UTSA. I saw that you guys kind of talk to each other about game development, and that there were Unity talks in some of the meeting summary notes. Since I am somewhat familiar with the area, I figured maybe it would be cool to pop-in and meet you guys and check out what the meetings are like.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
