Are you interested in walking a 1/2 marathon? This is a new walking group to train for walking the San Antonio Rock and Roll 1/2 marathon. Walking with a group can help motivate you while you set and reach new fitness goals for yourself. And the marathon is a lot of fun! The San Antonio 1/2 marathon is 13 miles and it's best to start training for it well in advance. It's not until November so we are getting started with plenty of time! I will post a training schedule soon and we can decide on an alternate walking place because we will gradually be increasing our number of miles each week. We will start with 3 miles the first few weeks and then increase to 5, 7, 9 miles, etc. over the next several weeks. Please be aware that the goal of this group is to set a brisk
pace and to start working up to several
