This run is an alternate meet-up training session for the SARR "Get Ready To Relay" Training Program.
The scheduled training today is a 3-mile Fartlek run.
This involves a burst of speed running every few minutes during your run. For instance, after the first mile you should do a sprint every 2 minutes for about 50 yards and repeat this action for the rest of the run.
Coach Jim Murray and mentors will be there to organize and train.
