SARR Get Ready To Relay Training Program

This run is an alternate meet-up training session for the SARR "Get Ready To Relay" Training Program.

The scheduled training today is a 3-mile Fartlek run.

This involves a burst of speed running every few minutes during your run. For instance, after the first mile you should do a sprint every 2 minutes for about 50 yards and repeat this action for the rest of the run.

Coach Jim Murray and mentors will be there to organize and train.

See you there!

Good run this AM and I'm impressed with those "Bursts" of speed I saw on the trail. Good Job, everyone!!

Jim, It was a good run overall. It wasn't easy when we're doing it. However, I felt really good after we competed it and looked at the overall pace on my navigation. Thanks for your support and encouragement.

Thanks, Dillon. Those fartleks are good training, even though they seem life torture while doing them :)

Fiesta does not mix well with my run training. Thought I could get it together for a run this morning but I am back to bed and then on to King William!
