I love any kind of themed potluck.
It would be interesting to take a class on sushi under a master chef. There's so much tradition to it.
I make a wonderful apple tarte tatin. A friend filmed me creating it in a demonstration video- need to get a copy.
Mexican, French, Italian, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese...
I've always been a foodie. I work as a private chef and have worked as a pastry chef for many years. I'm most comfortable around people who really enjoy food.
