Hi everyone, my name's Robert and I'm originally from Houston, TX. I'm picking up where I left off with my education @ SBCC and am a freelance web designer for the time being. I love what I do and wanna meet others in my field.
Designer and student
Just wanna network with others in the area
Robert: Glad to hear your joining us for the FULL MOON meditation, it should be awesome! Bring a warm coat though, maybe even a wool hat; I just came in from outdoors and tonight seems a bit cooler than the last few evenings. I look forward to meeting you tomorrow.
Welcome to CCSB! This site has been pretty dead this winter because of all the wet and cold. Once the weather starts turning nicer there should be a lot more good rides planned. If the weather is nice, a good ride to meet people is the Cold Springs Tavern ride (has been neglected for a few months because of rain). Hope to meet you one of these days!
Great bike. Sharon also has the same bike but in blue. Another rider had a 2006 but crashed on one of the rides so not sure if he will still have.
Hey Robert, Welcome to CCSB. I'm not sure I'm around that weekend, but have been itching for a ride.
Going over the mountains into Ojai the elevation reaches almost 6,000 feet, so there is potential for snow or ice. I have driven the road with snow on the sides. Let's continue to look at the 19th.
There are so many rides that I could introduce you to in this area. As I said, the big loop is awesome. I am leaving for a month in Mexico- January 23 to February 20. The 19th would work for me. When I return we could organize more rides, and the weather will be better. Thanks for your prompt reply.
Congratulations on your new bike. The ride you are suggesting on January 19th is one of my favorites. Have you ever done this ride? I would be happy to join you if the weather is good. I have enjoyed this ride many times.
I'll be ready to roll in about three weeks. Keep me posted though!
