Volunteer Clean-up

Cotton Branch Farm Animal Sanctuary is again in need of help with grounds maintenance, as the population of rescued animals continues to grow.  At present, there is very limited help available, while there is much required to be done on the farm to compensate for the daily requirements.  The animals there are very special, affectionate and in need of your assistance.  Your help will be greatly appreciated towards providing for them.  Many thanks in advance to all who signed-up.

Volunteer days are 18+ only. Please leave 4-legged family members at home.

What To Bring:

- Rake
- Shovel
- Gloves
- Hat
- Bug Spray
- Sunglasses
- Water
- Snack
- Hand sanitizer
- Heavy duty trash bags (appreciated)

Donations of produce (apples, carrots, melons, bananas, greens) and/or financial donations are always needed and much appreciated!

The entrance to the farm is located on Lightwood Knot Road, which connects to Cotton Branch Road. Both are unpaved roads. See attached map below. GPS and cellphone signals are 'good' throughout the area.

As of now the chance of rain is 50% so we are still on for the volunteer day.

If anyone has a saw/chainsaw to bring, that would be great, along with painting equipment, garden tools for clearing vegetation, rakes and shovels.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
