Napa Valley Camping & Wine Tasting Adventure

Join us for a great adventure in Napa Valley, California!!

So have you ever stomped grapes for wine making? If you haven't, this trip is for you as this will be one of the highlights of our trip! We will visit Napa during one of the best times as not only is crush time during the fall harvest, but we will also experience spectacular fall colors.

We will depart Los Angeles on a first class bus on Thursday night and while we sleep the bus driver will deliver us by morning to our campsite: the beautiful Bothe-Napa Valley State Park.
During our stay we will take a guided tour of Bale Gris Mill, go wine tasting in Calistoga, go on a Grape Stomping adventure at a local winery, explore St. Helena, hit local trails for some hiking (all hikes will be on trail and led by at least two Sierra Club leaders), hang out in downtown Napa, visit the famed Oxbow Public Market and enjoy delicious meals including tasting of local cheeses from Sonoma County!

The best part of it all is that you don't have to do any driving the whole weekend! Just come along to explore all that Napa Valley has to offer, hang out with old friends and make new ones along the way!!

Cost for this trip includes: campsite fees, bus fees, meals (Friday breakfast/lunch/happy hour/dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch/happy hour/dinner, Sunday breakfast, and snacks on the bus), guided tour of Bale Gris Mill, guided hiking, private Grape Stomping experience at Grigch Hills Winery which includes grape stomping, t-shirt, glass with logo, and wine tasting.
For those of you who have watched the movie Bottle Shock, this will be a trip of a life time as we will visit Chateau Montelena, where parts of the movie were shot. Additionally, the winemaker from Grgich Hills Estate was part of the 1976 California wine winning team in France!!

In addition to our regular price we are also offering an add on package for those interested in doing a private tour and tasting of the popular Castello di Amorosa.

The following is the price breakdown:

Sierra Club Members: $280
Fee Trip + Castello di Amorosa Tour & Tasting: $318

Non-Sierra Club Members: $306
Fee Trip + Castello di Amorosa Tour & Tasting: $344

Please note that this trip mostly evolves around winetasting around Napa Valley, however, if you are not a wine drinker you are still welcome to join us as we will offer some non-wine drinking options.

All participants will need to bring their own tent (or share one), sleeping bag, sleeping pad, reusable dinnerware, and a friendly attitude! Participants will be expected to help with campsite setup and takedown as well as signing up for meal prep and clean-up.

Bus pickups will include a West Los Angeles and a Van Nuys location.
Complete information about trip will be emailed to finalized participants a few weeks before departure date.

Address for payment will be emailed to participants upon reservation.

Hello Hanna, sorry for the late response. Unfortunately, we need to know before hand as we have to provide them with a down payment and number of people attending before the trip.

This is an amazing campground!! I stayed at the group campsite and it is so pretty with plenty of trails, great flat site for tents and the bathrooms are clean and offer hot water...just remember to bring lots of quarters as their is not a change machine and the hot water costs a buck or two!!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
