So have you ever heard a 80 feet 3 tiered waterfall in San Gabriel Valley?
It is one of the most beautiful waterfall around SGV area (in my opinion - so deal with it!!!)
Most people visit this waterfall using the 'lame' trail - 4 miles with minimum elevation gain. Hint: in summer time a shuttle can take people closer to the waterfall. But we're not that hikers aren't we?
So if you want to enjoy the waterfall more privately and have a good hiking experience, please join us for this 'devilish' hike. Why I call it devilish??? Come and you will experience it ...
Note: some part of this trail is REALLY REALLY steep. Hiking boots with good traction and hiking poles will help ALOT. There are also poison oaks and ticks along these trails - please check this website for ticks prevention: http://www.cdc.gov/features/stopticks/
Distance: 9 miles
Elevation gain/loss: 3000
Duration: 6 hours (we will take our time on the steep part of the trails)
This is not an easy hike - please be honest with your ability. So it brings the questions ... why we want to do this hike??? It's hard and has so many issues (ticks and poison oaks)? Because it's worth it ... if you ready and want some fullfilling hike - please join us. Please bring at least 2 liter of water and some snacks. And some money if you want to join our regular lunch after the hike.
Rain, fire, snow and icy trail will automatically cancel the hike.
