Yup, I will try and get there early as well. I might bring the pop-up tent with me since there are many areas exposed to the elements.

This place has the same rules poster for masks, as SC Village. So if you use wire-mesh eye mask, they might also require you to wear sun-glasses underneath. Just FYI.

If I am right, the FPS limit is 350 with .20 gram BB's. Ken went to there opening day and told me it was 350. His son Kyle almost couldn't play because his gun was shooting a little hot. You may want to call to verify.

All Airsoft Guns (both primary weapons and pistols) must shoot at 400 FPS or less with .20g BBs. All guns must be chronographed properly with an appropriate chrono tag placed on the gun by a referee after being tested properly. Staff will provide certified .20g BBs for testing.
    im all good!

I would call to verify, because the web site has a tendency to be wrong. Make sure you let them know its the HSP field in Bellflower. SC Viper is also a part of Hollywood Sports Parks (HSP) because I called to verify the FPS limit for Viper, because the Viper website said 350 FPS. The women on the line said the 350 GPS limit was for Bellflower and confirmed that Viper was 400. She said the website was wrong.

I just learned as well. There are two groups switching game play. One group of 350 FPS or lower, and the other group of 400 FPS. People in the 350 FPS range can play in both groups, where 400 FPS group is all its own. So both of us were right and wrong! I'll be damned!

I was there last weekend. It was 400 but the games were either burst fire or semi- auto, no full auto. Bring both guns just in case.

It was a great meetup! The location is only alright but the fact that there is a dedicated airsoft field at HSP is awesome. Hopefully more will develop soon.

Location: good, Refs: difficult to understand, Rules: not enforced, Kids: tons of them, Games: too short, simple. Weak scenarios, 1 respawn all day, no snack bar, 5 minute games in sets of 2 with ten minutes between rounds. Great field, could use better staffing.

Fun day with the team today! Though the teams were poorly organised on the ref's behalf, the course was well put together and made for great gameplay. Having 2 to 3 ref's on field mad a noticeable difference by the minimal cheating going on. Nothing beats the feeling you get from being on a field of chaos, and suddenly having to work together with 2 to 3 people you don't even know to stay alive. You get yourself out of the situation and stick the rest of the round together. . . The bond! . . . The connection! . . . The feeling! That's the treasure I get to take home with me at the end of the day. "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!"
