Make an evening out of it....plan to bring your dinner and/or snacks to share. Be sure to bring some insect repellent - the Lurman is a venue surrounded by woods and grassy areas.

Hot dogs and beverages are available for purchase on site. (No alcoholic beverages and no pets permitted.)

How to find Mike: Our meetup group has a self-designated "usual" spot at the Lurman. If you are facing the stage, we are on the gently sloped hillside area on the right. If you were one of the 100+ people who attended Mike's day-before-memorial-day BBQ, he should be easy to recognize.

Oh yeah....those of you who enjoy dancing....YES! You can dance to your heart's content down in front of the stage.

Our group danced most of the night because all of the songs made us want to get up and move in crazy ways!! The band was funny and gave us great variety of music from the 50's/60's and even a little 70's. The will be at the Brody(?) Vineyard soon. Worth the trip if you missed them this time around.

Thank you for hosting this, Mike. Did everyone have an enjoyable time?
If anyone would like to host an outdoor concert again here, or at Lake K or Centennial, or an outdoor movie at a public location, please let me know and I'll post it with you as the event host. All you really need to do is commit to showing up and let people know how to find you.
