I'm a Sql Server user myself, and so I can't contribute too much to any discussion regarding Postgre. My interest in the group is to develop a more well-rounded understanding of RDBMS, as I find it professionally unhealthy to be confined in one flavor of any technology.
Barcamp is this coming week. It's about as informal an event as you can imagine, as all talks and presentations are impromptu. No talk is ever too beginner or too advanced. If anyone had some pointers for me (on Postgre specifically), I'd be happy to consider giving an hour talk on the differences between MySql, Postgre, and Sql Server as an effort to try to recruit more members for the meetup.
